Greetings, fellow Krabbers. Thanks for visiting, hope
you enjoy the pictures from this summers' reunion
picnic. You will note that there are no titles or
descriptions on the photo pages....I'm asking for your
input. Anyone who wishes to comment on or describe any
or all of the pictures please send such to me (each
designated with appropriate photo number, please) and I
will compile and add to each page for everyone's benefit
and enjoyment. I have included below a brief (hah) note
from Hope Southall (Speight). She always did have the
right things to say about everything. Enjoy.
Note from Hope:
I do think our first picnic was a great success
considering many were dealing with the aftermath of
Hurricane Isabel. We were expecting 111 and had about 90
to show. It was a beautiful fall day, just right for
ole' friends to gather together to share good food and a
lot of laughs. I so enjoy planning events for the class;
just seeing the smiling faces, receiving wonderful notes
and emails. I LOVE it. We have surely come a long way
since high school days. I personally feel I have come to
know many people so much more than I knew them in
school. We were a BIG class, and we tended to keep in
certain circles. I like it much better now. EVERYONE is
important and soooo special! I love the idea for next
year's picnic. Most of the class will turn 60 so we will
have a BIG 60th BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!! I can't think of a
better way to celebrate it than with good ole'
classmates from HHS! |
